How to send your work?

It’s easy…

1- You send your video in, with the help of our dedicated service (or by any other mean).
2- We work on it to improve it (and turn the cards 🙂 ).
3- We send it back to you, you publish and enjoy the results!

HOW TO SEND VIDEO (or AUDIO) FOR AN UPGRADE?

To get us the file(s), you have 3 options:

  • Transfer through our dedicated service IndigoMnM.wetransfer.com (Recommended)
  • Share through your DropBox account, Google Drive, etc
  • Use any other method which is convenient for you

HOW TO RECEIVE THE NEW VERSION?

Upon completion, you will automatically receive an email from our file transfer partner WeTransfer. It will contain a link to download your files.

WHEN?

The turnaround is usually fast. To have an update or request a rush, please reach out to [email protected] . Most of the time we’ll be able to work within your timeframe.

Do you have

In short, just send what you have, and we’ll take care of it!

If you have a video file only, send your video file. We’ll upgrade the audio part, and send you back a video file for which the audio has been seamlessly upgraded. (This is the most common)

If you have a video file, along with a raw original audio file, send both of them (as the raw audio file may have better quality due to the compression used in the video files).
If you have separate files for different persons speaking through the video, send them along! If you have background music, effects, etc., available separately, send them too!

The more we have the different elements separately, the more we can push the envelope even further.
Even if the different elements are not available separately, we can really improve the sound dramatically.

While we technically can do some video editing, it is not the purpose of this company.
Finding people who do everything (sound and video), is what the entire industry is full of; which in turn often results nowadays in the not so good overall audio quality.
While video editing can be handled by pretty much anyone with great results, the audio part needs to be handled by a professional if you want to have superior results.
The trend of the industry for a long time has been to get rid of the dedicated audio person in the process, and this have consequences. While we consider that it is a missed opportunity for many, the good thing is that it is also an opportunity for you to rake in competitive advantages…

Absolutely, if for any reasons you are not completely satisfied with our work, we will offer as many revisions as needed, free of charge.
Most of the time, revisions are not needed; but if you feel that something is not quite where it should be, don’t hesitate to reach out at [email protected] and we’re happy to help!
Good communication is important for the success. Indeed, it is essential for us to understand the vision and the context in which the contents are going to be used.

Who is

Indigo Mixing & Mastering?

LOCATION

Our studio is located on the east coast of the USA, in New Jersey, one hour west of New York City.

HISTORY

Before the company was created, we have been doing studio work and live events in NYC (and in France back in the days). It is during our experience with the live events, that we have directly realized how much there is a need for great quality audio.
After many years of preparation, the company Indigo Mixing And Mastering LLC was officially created in 2016. Even after the creation, the first years were spent investing in equipment, and developing breakthrough technologies and workflow.

R & D

Why so much time spent in research and development? Because manipulating audio is a tricky business. Why? Because hearing is a sense which is so developed that it can feel extremely small variations. It is unbelievably good and sensitive! And on the other side of the coin, it is extremely picky…

WHY INDIGO ?

The color indigo can carry a special meaning; it can be assimilated with the chakra at the top of the head, and it is also found in the indigo children phenomenon. For us, this color can by symbolic of working to make the world better from a different level.

WHY MIXING & MASTERING ?

Mixing as well as mastering, if you don’t know already, are technical terms commonly used to describe the action of manipulating the sound. To make a long story short: mixing is when you mix artistically several sources (or instruments) into a pleasant whole, and mastering is when you already have an assembled whole which you improve further.
